Fit Kids: Getting a Champion's Story Online

Fit Kids is a youth sports program in California, founded by a world champion athlete. After-school activities, personal training, sports education — the kind of programs that get kids moving and build real confidence.

The coaching was great. The website wasn't. Parents couldn't find program details, schedules, or how to sign up without calling in.

Everything ran on phone calls and paper forms. Parents had questions, staff spent time answering them instead of coaching. The website looked dated and didn't show what made Fit Kids different — a world champion actually running the sessions.

They needed a site that did three things: explain the programs, show the credentials, and let parents register without picking up the phone.

1. A clear, energetic website that puts the programs front and centre — what's available, when, where, and who's teaching. The founder's background is right there, not buried in an about page.

2. Online registration and booking — parents browse programs, pick a time, and sign up. No phone calls, no paper forms, no back-and-forth.

Admin time dropped 70%. The staff went back to coaching. Online registrations jumped 150% in the first two months — parents said they signed up because it was finally easy to see what was on offer and book a spot.

Fit Kids used the extra capacity to add new programs and reach more kids in the area.
