Consistent pre-orders on drops, highly loyal returning buyers, and a fast site capable of converting paid traffic without cart abandonment.

SPQR Shop is one of our longest-running partnerships. We launched the first store with them in 2020 and have run the storefront, the brand, and most of the operation around it ever since. The product is bespoke jewelry rooted in Roman history and Christian tradition. Custom rings, pendants, engravings, made by a small atelier for a niche audience. Most buyers are in the United States, with a smaller European following.

The original store ran on WordPress and WooCommerce. By 2023 the catalog had grown to roughly two thousand products. Page speed had collapsed. The storefront no longer matched the level of the work going through the workshop.

We trimmed the catalog down to the strongest sellers and migrated the whole shop to Shopify that same year. Sales doubled. Page speed climbed. The platform decision has compounded ever since.

Over the years we have layered automation on top. Bulk product editing, inventory sync, order tagging, and the smaller jobs that quietly eat a founder's afternoon. Each one earns its place by saving real time on the operations side.

The 2026 redesign is the current site. A persistent add-to-cart bar lets a customer pick a stone, an engraving, and a metal without ever losing the item they are buying. Product pages are fully customisable, easy to manage, easy to extend. The visual reference is Apple. Calm, dark, generous spacing, a long single column built for slow browsing.

Alongside the rebuild we ran a complete brand refresh with Carlos. Tighter typography, a stricter palette, cleaner photography standards. Every product image now goes through our own studio. Rings, pendants, campaign banners, all shot and edited in-house, then uploaded directly to Shopify.

Marketing, sales, shipping, and operations all sit under the same roof. We run paid acquisition, write the email sequences, design the seasonal campaigns, and keep the back end clean. The strategy is robust because it has to be. The audience is small but loyal, and conversion is built on trust. Returning customers regularly cross twenty orders. A small group of long-time buyers pre-orders every release.

New customers find the brand through paid and organic channels each week.

The site has become the centre of the operation. Better margins, better ads, more market presence, year over year. We treat it like a workshop, not a one-time project.
